Other partners include Tabco Incorporated Pte Ltd and ASKnLearn Pte Ltd. This year, StrITwise® Challenge 2009 has also been listed as a Singapore 2010 CAN! Event. Singapore 2010 CAN! event is part of the Singapore Youth Olympic Games 2010.
The objective of this competition is to develop the awareness and interest of IT amongst the youth in a fun and engaging way. Participating teams would have the opportunity to demonstrate their streetwise application of their IT skills. It provides an excellent opportunity for the schools to exhibit their competency in IT and also to trigger the student’s creative thinking. The National StrITwise® Challenge Trophies will be awarded to the schools of the top 3 teams. There are many attractive prizes to be awarded to the winners of this competition.
The StrITwise® Challenge requires participating teams to demonstrate their knowledge and strategic skills in three areas, namely:
1. StrITcombat : Robocode 2.0 (simple programming to create a virtual robot to battle online)
2. StrITd∑sign (Robodesign)(design of a virtual robot)
