The objective of this competition is to develop the awareness and interest of IT amongst the youth in a fun and engaging way. Splash Awards is an annual national design competition for students from secondary schools to Institutes of Higher Learning. This year, Splash Awards 2009 is jointly organized by the Student Chapters and the IDM Chapter of Singapore Computer Society (SCS) and is under the umbrella of National Infocomm Competition (NIC).
In line with the current economic climate, we have aptly chosen the theme Capitalizing on IT to Thrive in the Current Economy. Participating teams have to convey creative expressions centred on the theme through digital poster or interactive media. Indeed, this national IT event has provided an invaluable platform to engage students in the various aspects of infocomm technology in a fun and creative way!
Do help us spread the word around and disseminate the e-flyer below to your students .
