SRG
> On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to invite your school to participate in the Schools' Robotic Competition, a Singapore Robotic Games 2009 event that has enjoyed enthusiastic support from primary or secondary schools. The Singapore Robotic Games 2009 will be held from 20 - 22 January 2009 at Singapore Science Centre and the Schools' Robotic Competition will be held on 21 January 2009 noon.
> As the closing date for registration, 5 Jan 2009, is drawing near, we look forward to the participation/support of your school in this event, which offers your students a wonderful and unique learning opportunity in designing and building mobile robotic vehicles. If your school is participating in the competition for the first time, your students are encouraged to register for the briefing session as well.
> The students will design and build an autonomous robot that is able to follow a black path. At the end of the path, it is to collect one out of the five cans with each weighs 300g and to return to the starting box before unloading. The students will decide their own transmission message as well as protocol to design the vehicle with the capability to receive and transmit wirelessly the can's position information. Information on the "can position" of the can to be collected will be provided by the judge during the race.
> For more information about the rules and regulations, please visit the SRG 2009 web-site at http://guppy.mpe.nus.edu.sg/srg/.
